Don’t Fence Me In

One of my pet hates is the increase of tall fences in suburbia. Blocking out the neighbours and social contact and reducing visibility between properties reduces security. These barricades between properties may actually do the reverse of what they purportedly are supposed to do. Go figure, I understand if you neighbours are truly detestable you may want a tall fence, but good suburbs are made up of socialising within the neighbourhood and everybody keeping an eye out for each other.
